We are trying a square foot garden,
and within all the squared feet wee bits of edibles are popping up.
Varied leaves are pushing through the soil,
and carrots, lettuce, kale, fennel, corn, tomatoes,
peas, beans, squash, radishes and beets
are all showing themselves in their own tidy spaces.
