In like a Lamb

March certainly entered like a lamb today with bright sunshine, above zero temperatures, and my littlest lambs outside "definately without winter coats!" most of the day.

Where does this expression come from? Possibly from the placements of the Leo the Lion and the Ram/lamb constellations at this time of the year. Possibly simply as a description of March's unpredictable weather patterns.

All around the house there are puddles and a constant dripping from the roof line.
